Discover the Old Produce Store Binalong in a secret heritage village known for its genuine country hospitality.
Binalong is the quintessential Australian village, home to numerous well-preserved Victorian and Federation buildings and with strong connections still felt today to the regions historic beginnings, bushranging past and Australia’s best loved writer and poet A.B. ‘Banjo’ Paterson.
The store is home to the famous Binalong Mural and Binalong Bushranger Blend locally produced goodies which include pickles, relish, chutney, jam, jelly, paste, sauces, candles and 'mandles', plus our blended brews of 100% Australian grown and roasted coffee and billy tea fit for The Queen!
It's the place to pick up local honeys, olive oils, mustards, nuts, vinegars, beeswax products, Merino warmers, ceramics, iron, wood and leather works, unique furnishings and soon to be cellar door!
We are passionate about this wondrous region and promoting local producers, local artisans and hand made.
While you’re here say g'day to a local and grab some Binalong Bangers from Mick the Butcher and picnic in the park at the free barbecues, followed by an ice cream from Billy at the General Store, or a coffee from Cafe on Queen and a visit to the Binalong Motor Museum is a must, plus call into Peter Minson Art Glass before ending the day with a run up Mount Bobbara, or take in the history and architecture with a 45 minute Binalong Bushranger Walk. Finish it all off with a shandy and real country meal at the friendliest pub in NSW!
